In the daisy days of summer
Lily petals through the garden
To the tea party at the dahlia house
Sipping buttercups with the butterflies
Aloe, Vera!
The violas pluck their strings as the
Hummingbird hums the garden anthemOrchids at play --
The thistles blow and they’re off!
